About Talent by Design Consulting
Talent by Design Consulting is a human resource and management consulting firm. Our services center around four main areas: strategic programs focused on managing talent, assessments designed to improve employee satisfaction and retention, managing the people side of change, and developing metrics to measure success.
After college I spent nearly a decade in corporate America. During that time, I had five different positions, nine bosses, and lived in three different cities. I watched the dynamics of the relationship between organizations and their employees. Two things really stood out for me: 1) talent and potential were not being tapped or utilized in the most productive ways, and 2) employers wanted to assess employee satisfaction but did nothing with the results. I wanted to work on these issues, so at age 30 I changed careers and went to graduate school to get my doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology.
I have always dreamed of owning my own consulting firm and am now so excited to officially launch Talent by Design Consulting. When we work with clients, we ensure that the solutions we provide match the underlying need of the organization. To do that, we use a four step process. First, we assess and identify what is causing the underlying issues you are trying to address. Second we either refine your current processes or provide and develop a new process for you. Third, we work with you throughout the implementation. Fourth, we make sure that you can measure your results and effectively evaluate and revise programs as needed.
In the coming months, we will have blog topics centered describing how our services benefit organizations. We will also discuss also current happenings in the world of work and provide tips and resources on different areas affecting your personnel.
